1. Sum of series:
   
   sum of numbers -> 1 + 2 + 3 + ..... n = n(n-1)/2
   
   sum of squares ->  1 + 4 + 9 + ......n = n(n+1)(2n+1)/6 = n3/2 + n2/3 +n/6
